MAÏA ALONSO

Maïa Alonso was born in Algeria. The happy little girl who ran after the wind in the dazzling light of her native village has given way to a solitary teenager, revolted by the heartbreak of exile.

Writing would be her refuge. Encouraged by the writer Gil Jouanard, who wrote the preface to her first book, she turned to publishing relatively late, in 2013.

Since then, she has published seven novels. A correspondent for "La Dépêche du Midi", she combines her two passions: writing and human encounters.
